We are writing to share a construction update on the Raymond B. Jones Engineering Building.
Construction remains on track for completion in July 2026, with building occupancy anticipated in Fall 2026 and classes beginning in the Jones Engineering Building in Spring 2027.
The project continues to make steady progress across multiple areas.
- Exterior work is advancing with masonry, metal panel installation and glass now in place on portions of the building.
- Inside, drywall, painting and ceiling installation are underway, while mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems continue to be built out.
- Site improvements, including sidewalks and roadway access, are also progressing.
