As a reminder, the university continues its work to ensure compliance with federal accessibility requirements, including the ADA Title II digital accessibility requirements, which take effect on April 24, 2026. These requirements also impact all UAH-affiliated social media accounts.

Those with access to UAH-affiliated social media accounts will be required to complete Social Media Accessibility Training. 

To ensure that we have an accurate list of all UAH-affiliated social media properties and their account holders, please submit the UAH-Affiliated Social Media Account Audit form as soon as possible.

  • You should submit one form for each Department/Entity account that you manage.
  • If you are not the primary account holder, please coordinate with that person to submit the form to prevent duplicate entries if possible.

The Social Media Accessibility training module will soon be available in Canvas to all known accountholders. Once it is available, you should see it listed among your assigned courses.
