You are invited to participate in a UAH research study led by Nick Washmuth (Ph.D candidate in Psychology) that aims to explore the habits and contextual uses of swearing among college professors in the United States. The findings will help us better understand how swearing impacts the college classroom.
Your participation in this study is valuable, whether you swear in the classroom or not.
This study is open to all professors (e.g., instructors, adjuncts, lecturers, professors) working in higher education in the United States. You are also encouraged to forward this invitation to your professor colleagues working at other Universities in the United States.
Details About This Research:
- IRB Approval: This study has been approved by the University of Alabama in Huntsville Institutional Review Board (IRB #EE202540)
- Format: You will complete an online Qualtrics survey.
- Duration: Less than 15 minutes.
- Confidentiality: Your participation is entirely voluntary, and responses will be kept confidential.
- Compensation: There will be no compensation for participating in this study.
