Dear Colleagues,
Please join me in welcoming Michael Poll as our first vice provost for enrollment management.
Michael comes to UAH with 30 years of higher education experience in a variety of senior leadership positions. He has successfully overseen the offices of undergraduate admissions, graduate admissions, financial aid, institutional research, strategic planning, scholarships, registrar, marketing, international student services, veteran success, student accounts, orientation, testing services, and other departments. Most recently, Michael served as vice president for enrollment management and institutional research at Georgia Gwinnett College (Lawrenceville, GA).
Michael specializes in data-driven decision making, student success, strategic enrollment planning, financial aid leveraging, internationalization, collaborative management, and a balanced approach to success and life. He graduated from Menlo College (California), where he earned a B.S. in business management. He received an M.A. in educational administration from San Jose State University and then earned his Ed.D. degree in curriculum and leadership from Columbus State University.
We look forward to Michael joining the UAH community in February of 2025 and putting his leadership and experience to work in advancing us to the next phase of our enrollment journey.
