July 1, 2024 The search for a permanent dean of the Honors College has been unsuccessful thus far, and we are continuing the search. Dr. Sean Lane, who has been serving as interim dean of the Honors College, will step down from this role to focus on the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences. I am sincerely thankful for Dr. Lane for his leadership of the Honors College for the past 11 months. I am happy to announce that Dr. Keith Hollingsworth will serve as interim dean of the Honors College effective June 1, 2024. Dr. Hollingsworth joined UAH in 2011 and served as chair of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from 2011 until 2023. In addition to administrative and leadership skills, he has a strong passion for honors programming. I look forward to working with Dr. Hollingworth while we seek a permanent dean.
