Enhancements and new retirement strategy opportunities are being incorporated into the University of Alabama System voluntary retirement plans. The Target Date Plus model portfolios make it easier to plan and save for retirement by providing you with a professionally managed model portfolio. The portfolios provide a convenient alternative to managing choices from the retirement plans’ investment lineups. The upcoming enhancements provide an excellent opportunity for you to revisit your retirement plan options. Group Presentations TIAA will be on campus at UAH this week to provide individual counseling opportunities and conduct group presentations, open to active and inactive participants. Mark your calendars to attend a presentation to learn more about the transition and if you need to take any action. See the schedule below to determine the date and location that is most convenient for you. Retirement Counseling Retirement counseling is available for individual meetings to help answer any specific questions, or assist you opt out of the new Target Date model if you prefer to keep your own customized investments. Individual sessions are available in 20-minute increments of time. You may come by at your convenience (subject to availability) or schedule a time in advance.
