Sexual Assault Information

If you (or someone you know) has been the victim of sexual assault:

  • Tell Someone: Report it to the University Police at  256.824.6911. If you don't want to report it to the Police, report to it to the Dean of Students office at  256.824.6700.
  • Talk to Someone: Talk to a friend or your RA or RD; Contact the Counseling Center at  256.824.6203 or the Crisis Center of North Alabama at  256.716.4052.

Suicide Prevention Information

If you (or someone you know) may be contemplating suicide:

  • Tell Someone: Report it to the University Police at  256.824.6911. If you don't want to report it to the Police, report to it to the Dean of Students office at  256.824.6700.
  • Talk to Someone: If you have concerns about someone who may be in immediate danger, call the University Police at  256.824.6911, otherwise contact the Counseling Center at  256.824.6203.
