UAH Online Scholarship Application Help
The following section outlines the information that each section of the scholarship application requires:
You may log in using either your student ID number or an email address regardless of your student status. It is not recommended that prospective UAHuntsville students enter their UAH email address for this purpose as this email will not be activated until you have registered for class. Financial Information (not a required section)
A link to a handy EFC calculator and an area for additional comments allows you to be considered for scholarships with financial need criteria.
This section requires information regarding high school attended, expected or actual date of graduation, intended program of study, etc. We will use your final high school transcript, official GED, and SAT or ACT reported test score to determine final awards; it is your responsibility to make sure the University receives official final transcripts.
Free Form Essay Questions
These questions provide donors and scholarship committees a preview of who you are and how serious you are about your education and subsequent career. Current students and transfer students are prompted only to respond to the career essay. First-time freshmen will be asked to answer two additional essay questions. If you have an existing statement that answers any of the essay questions, you may copy and paste from a word document.
You must supply the email addresses of two people who will provide recommendations for you. An email containing instructions concerning the recommendations will be sent to these addresses.
Documents such as certificates, employee verification forms, etc may be uploaded to your application.
NOTE: The maximum file size for uploaded documents is 100 MB. Students may need to reduce the size of images so the uploading process is quicker.

This is your opportunity to ensure the accuracy of your application. Remember that fields marked with read double asterisks are required, and the application will not be processed if any required fields are left blank.
