Certified Information Security Manager
Establish your information security management expertise. As part of the DoD 8570 directive, the CISM certification promotes international security practices. It validates an individual's proficiency to manage design, oversee, and assess an enterprise's information security. Those earning the certificate have the required experience and knowledge to provide effective security management and consulting services. Focus on the tasks necessary to effectively manage information security within an organization, gain insight into various techniques information security managers use, and cover steps and solutions for responding to an incident. Exercises designed to strengthen your understanding of CISM concepts and prepare you for exam success are provided in our hands-on labs.

Exam may be taken at any time, but certification requires a minimum of 5 years of information security work experience, and a minimum of 3 years of information security management experience in 3 or more of the job practice areas. See www.isaca.org for more information.
