System Design for Reliability
Provides the practicing engineer with design-for-reliability best practice standards for establishing a reliability and maintainability program. Laboratory practical exercises will be performed to characterize parameters of part/LRU failure. RELEXT reliability math modeling and simulation software is used in practical exercises.

  • Concept of failure
  • Reliability and maintainability functions
  • Modeling part/LRU reliability and maintainability functions using time-to-failure data
  • Modeling part/LRU reliability functions using interference theory
  • Modeling system reliability
