Focusing on Ludwig Van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Microsoft Multimedia Beethoven, by Robert Winter, is an early example of exploratory music CAI. Designed for high school and college students, chapters on Beethoven's World and The Art of Listening are included, as well as a complete annotated performance of the symphony. During the Close Reading, students can stop the music to see more detailed analysis. A trivia game is also included.
