There are many ways the Salmon Library can help you find what you need. First off, if you have any questions then feel free to pop over to libanswers.uah.edu and to ask us through chat, phone, email, Twitter, or one of our other methods. We will get back to you as soon as possible. There are a number of ways to search through our resources: OneSearch, our catalog, other databases, and government documents. For other information, see our sublinks in this category: Ask-Us-Anything Alabama Virtual Library Dissertations Other Library Catalogs Subject Guides Subject Specialists Using Library Resources WorldCat (requires UAH login) OneSearch OneSearch is our flavor of EbscoHost's Discovery Service. What this means is that it is a way for you to search through a large portion of the materials and resources we offer, all in one fairly to use search. It has a good number of options after you to search to narrow down results, by subject and date and type and so forth, and has some visual search modules for those who like to try a slightly different way of getting to data. OneSearch also searches our catalog. Catalog You can use our catalog to search for books, print journals, dissertations (from UAH grads), microfilm, and so forth. If you access it through My Account Page, you can also see how many books you have checked out and when they are due back. Other Databases If you need other databases, you can find a long list at http://libguides.uah.edu/databases which is sorted by name and by college/major.
