Honors Program Student Council
The Honors Program Student Council (HPSC) is the student-run governing body of the Honors Program. The aim of the HPSC is to promote and enhance the Honors Program through student-oriented activities and events, which will lend a sense of community and cohesion to the Program as a whole. Past events include: Super Bowl Pizza Party, volunteering at the Huntsville Downtown Rescue Mission, helping Habitat for Humanity, bi-weekly Honors dinners and much more! Qualifications for Honors Program Student Council officers:
- Any member of the Honors Program is eligible for nomination and all members of the Honors Program can vote.
- Treasurer must be 19 or older. (Alabama Credit Union requirement)
- President must have completed 2 semesters at UAHuntsville
- Elections are typically held during April
