Avant garde, edgy ideas confront us with increasing frequency as do misinformation and disinformation. Encountering and challenging them with old certainties and anachronistic wisdom is futile. In addition, we are always communicating but we have sacrificed dialogue for mere connection. However dialogue is a cornerstone for democracy. So, while dangerous ideas are taboo and vexing, they don't endanger us. Come and engage in contested questions.
