愛してる(Aishiteru) is the first ever anime style show at UAH.  It features the work of Cappy Waits in his endeavor to mix the African-American and Japanese cultures. This series is a narrative of two young kids from very different parts of the world. Osaka, a Black Japanese girl and Detroit, an African-American boy. This show follows their connection through postcards sent back and forth as they learn more about each other.

A closing reception will be held on Tuesday, October 31st from 4:30pm-6:30pm in the Salmon Library Gallery. Please join us and meet the artist!

Gallery is open during library hours.
