Keynote Speaker: Dr. Valerie Traub, University of Michigan: "Normality, c. 1600: A Visual History" on Saturday, March 25 at 3:30 p.m. in Shelby Center Room 301. 

Valerie Traub is the Adrienne Rich Distinguished University Professor and Frederick G. L. Huetwell Professor of English and Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan. Her books include Oxford Handbook of Shakespeare and Embodiment (2016), Thinking Sex with the Early Moderns (2015), The Renaissance of Lesbianism in Early Modern England (2002), and Desire & Anxiety: Circulations of Sexuality in Shakespearean Drama (1992). She is currently working on another monograph, Mapping Embodiment in the Early Modern West: Anatomy, Cartography, and the Prehistory of Normality.
