Journey to Middle-Earth and back again in this introductory course focusing on the life and work of fantasy author J.R.R. Tolkien. Sessions will focus on Tolkien's life, historical context, and legacy as well as literary works like The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. No previous experience with Tolkien or fantasy literature is necessary!
