The UAH Graduate School held its annual 3MT Competition on November 2, 2022. The event included seven participants from three colleges.

Students representing the College of Business, College of Engineering, and College of Science presented their thesis work within a three-minute time frame using only a single, static PowerPoint slide.

Todd McKinney, College of Science, won first place for his presentation, titled "Circumnavigating Balloon Satellites!" As a result, he won $250 and an expense-paid trip to represent UAH at the regional 3MT Competition during the 2023 Annual Conference of Southern Graduate Schools in Tampa, Florida, March 2-5, 2023.

Boshra Rezvanian, College of Science, placed second for her presentation, "Toward Drug Discovery for a Pediatric Disorder." She was awarded $100.

Third-place winner, Shahid Khan, won $50 for his presentation on "Alleviating Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis through Ultrasound."
