How To Apply | Filling Out I-9 Forms | Position Listings

How To Apply For These Positions
You must be currently enrolled and taking classes at UAH to qualify for on-campus student employment. Students who took classes in the spring and are registered for classes in the fall may seek summer employment even if not enrolled for the summer.

UAH students who are interested in any of the following positions should come by UAH Career Services at EB 117 for additional information and application instructions. We are Located in room 117 of the Engineering Building. Hours are between 8:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Filling Out I-9 Forms
You must complete a federal I-9 form to qualify for an on-campus position after you have been offered employment.

When filling out an I-9 form, please bring two valid forms of ID with you (Social Security Card, Drivers License or Passport) to the Career Services office. You must have these forms of ID with you to be able to complete the I-9. After you are hired on-campus, you will have three days to fill out this form. Because of the fact that this is a federal form, we are unable to let these forms leave our office, so please have your materials ready when you come to fill out your I-9.

A Note About Social Security Cards: Many students (who are U.S. citizens) are unable to provide social security cards due to a number of reasons. It's possible that they are out of state students that have left the card at home, or have lost cards while moving to the Huntsville area. This is no problem, the Social Security Office on Bradford Drive (Look here for directions.) can help you with this. Simply visit the office and they can help you find a method to get a new card or a copy of it.
