UAH Faculty and Staff:
As part of our continuing evolution of the UAH Cybersecurity program and to meet cyberinsurance requirements, all faculty and staff are required to complete cybersecurity training each calendar year. For 2024, we are using a brief self-paced Canvas course to meet this requirement. You should have already been enrolled in this course and it can be found at https://canvas.uah.edu or you can go directly to the course at https://uah.instructure.com/courses/74623.
Please complete this annual Cybersecurity Awareness Training course prior to December 1, 2024. If you have any questions or issues completing the course, please contact Jeremy Shelley at CISO@uah.edu.

How long does the training take to complete?
We anticipate the course will take less than 40 minutes to complete.
When is the deadline to complete the training?
The deadline to complete cybersecurity awareness training is December 1, 2024.
How do I complete the training?
Log in to Canvas (https://canvas.uah.edu)
Click the "2024 UAH Annual Cybersecurity Training" course
Read the instructions on the home page
Click on the Modules page of the course in the navigation on the left side.
Follow the assignments in order from top to bottom using the "Next" button at the bottom to assist you.
Please be sure you complete the final quiz and see the "Congratulations" screen.
Am I required to submit a certificate to anyone at the end of the course?
No certificate is produced or required. Completion of the course will be documented within the class when you complete the quiz and see the "Congratulations" screen.How can I tell if I've completed the training?
After completing the course, you will see a congratulations page that looks like the below image. That indicates you have completed your 2024 training. This completion is logged in the Canvas course.
Individuals who have not completed the training will be contacted later in the year to remind them of the training requirement and to encourage completion of the course.
