Welcome to the UAH Family!

Join us for Admitted Student Day on Monday, March 9th to celebrate your accomplishments and admission to UAH. This event is designed for you to explore campus to see what it's like to be a student!

*If you were registered for the February 16th Admitted Student Day we had to postpone due to incelement weather, you will need to register again for the new March 9th date.

Here is what the schedule looks like for the day:

8:15 am -- CHECK-IN & ACADEMIC BROWSING

Before the day officially kicks off, feel free to mingle with representatives from our academic colleges and ask questions about the programs you are interested in.

9:00 am -- WELCOME

Meet Dr. Robert Altenkirch (UAH President), Nandish Dayal (SGA President), your Admissions Counselors, and Orientation Leaders!

9:40 am -- SESSION #1
Students:  University Center Exhibit Hall
Hear about life on campus and the amazing co-op and internship opportunities from current UAH students.
Parents:  Spragins Hall
Hear about why UAH is ranked #1 among all public and private universities in the state for best Return on Investment.

10:10 am -- SESSION # 2
Students:  University Center Exhibit Hall
Ask a panel of current students and alumni about UAH.
Parents:  Spragins Hall 
Student Financial Services and the Bursar's Office discuss How to Pay for College.

10:40 am -- SESSION # 3
Students:  UAH Campus
Go on a Scavenger Hunt across campus to learn about UAH.
Parents: Spragins Hall
Ask a panel of UAH representatives about UAH.

11:40 am -- LUNCH
Students:  UAH Campus
Dine for free in either Charger Union at Dunkin' Donuts or World of Wings, or in the Charger Village Food Court at Chick-fil-A, Papa John's, or 
Boar's Head Deli in the Blue's Convenience Store.
Parents:  Spragins Hall
Enjoy a complimentary buffet-style lunch and mingle with other parents and guests.

12:40 - 3:40 pm -- CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!
Create your own schedule with the options below including an Academic Meet & Greet, Residence Hall Tours, Campus Tours, and Student Services Browsing Fair. You can also sit in on a class and register for Orientation during this time!

BROWSING FAIR FOR STUDENT SERVICES AND ORGANIZATIONS
Charger Union 2nd Floor
Come ask our staff questions about some of UAH's students services, such as Dining Services, Housing and Residence Life, Student Success Center, Pre-Health Advising, Financial Aid, and more.  You'll also be able to speak with students representing a wide variety of clubs and organizations, such as Fraternities and Sororities, Student Government Association, Space Hardware Club, the UAH Chargerettes, and more!!

CAMPUS TOURS
Depart from Charger Union Lobby (every 20 minutes). Last departure is 2:40 pm.

LAB TOURS
Check-in at Admissions Info Table inside Charger Union; Depart at 12:45 pm and 2:00 pm.
UAH ESS, NASA-SERVIR and NASA-DEVELOP
-- Allows students to conduct research into applied Earth sciences including the following topics: natural disasters, weather, climate change, water resources, agriculture, and international sustainable development.

The CSTAR (Collaborative Simulation and Telecommunication Array) Visualization Center -- Includes state-of-the-art flatscreens displaying exciting images of research being conducted in the field of space science, from the furthest reaches of the universe to the boundaries of the heliosphere, as well as our Sun and the geospace environment.

Meet in the lobby of Charger Village, Central Campus Residence Hall, and/or Frank Franz Hall.

SIT IN ON A CLASS
If you registered ahead of time, please refer to the class ticket in your folder for the location.

You even have the opportunity to join us Sunday, March 8th to have dinner with current students and spend the night on campus! Here is the schedule for our overnight portion:

5:30 pm -- OVERNIGHT CHECK-IN
University Center Lobby

6:00 pm -- DINNER: "TASTE OF CAMPUS"
University Center Exhibit Hall

7:00 - 9:00 pm -- EVENING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING: CARD GAMES, VIDEO GAMES, POOL,  PING PONG, PHOTO BOOTH, etc...
