Dr. Mark Tischler is a recognized national expert in rotorcraft flight dynamics and control, flight testing, simulation, and system identification. He leads the Flight Control Technology group at the U.S Army Aeroflightdynamics Directorate that conducts rotorcraft handling qualities and flight control research. He has authored or co-authored over 120 research publications, was the organizing editor and contributor to the book Advances in Aircraft Flight Control (Taylor & Francis, 1996) and the author of two textbooks on Aircraft and Rotorcraft System Identification by AIAA.
