Those who complete the ASEM® Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are halfway finished with their CAEM® or CPEM® certification also.

Joe Wilck, Ph.D., PE, CPEM, F.ASEM

Joe Wilck has been teaching engineering, management, operations research and data science topics since 2006. His research is in applied optimization and analytics, and it has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation among others.

He is a registered professional engineer and a certified professional in engineering management. He is an active member and volunteer of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) and was elected as a fellow of ASEM in 2023. He completed his education at Pennsylvania State University (doctorate) and Virginia Tech (master's and bachelor's), all in industrial and systems engineering with an emphasis on operations research.
