Biography

Lara is serving as a K-5 math specialist. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree and went on to earn her Masters in Elementary Education at Alabama A&M. She holds an Instructional Leadership certification from the University of Alabama. Lara taught in Huntsville CIty and Madison City Schools in grades 3, 5 and 6. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
