The Office of Pre-Health Professions Advising offers guidance for UAH students and alumni who want to pursue a professional career in healthcare. Pre-Health is not a major, it's a goal. The Pre-Health Professions Advising office is here to serve all UAH non-nursing pre-health professions students, regardless of their major. In addition to an Academic Advisor, pre-health students have a dedicated Pre-Health Advisor. Enrolled Pre-Health students have access to additional resources to ensure they build a competitive application for their desired professional healthcare program. Our Pre-Health Professions Program exists to help you become the best possible candidate for the professional graduate healthcare program of your choice. If you are interested in pursuing a Nursing degree, please contact nursing@uah.edu or graduate-nursing@uah.edu If you are a transfer student interested in getting a degree or professional school prerequisites at UAH, contact a transfer advisor first. If you are an alumnus interested in coming back to UAH for a second bachelor's degree or prerequisites, you should first apply as a second bachelor's student (recommended) or as a non-degree student.
