As a new transfer student attending UAH, your next step is to meet with your academic advisor and choose your orientation experience. Step 1 Meet with your Academic Advisor Schedule an advising appointment with your academic advisor to discuss class selection and any transfer credit. Locate your academic advisor Please note, once your transfer credit evaluation has been completed, you will be eligible to register for classes. You do not have to wait until after completing your orientation experience to create a class schedule. Class registration for the Summer 2024 term opens on March 4, 2024, and registration for the Fall 2024 terms opens on May 15, 2024. Step 2 Register for Transfer Orientation New transfers have the option of completingTransfer Online Orientation or attending an in-person Transfer Orientation. All transfer students should complete Transfer Online Orientation or attend an in-person session no later than the first day of classes of the summer or fall term. REGISTER FOR TRANSFER ONLINE ORIENTATION REGISTER FOR TRANSFER ORIENTATION ON AUGUST 1 REGISTER FOR TRANSFER ORIENTATION ON AUGUST 8 Orientation Fees Students completing Transfer Orientation will be charged a $25 orientation fee that will be included in your university bill payable when tuition is due at the start of the semester. What to Expect No matter which experience you choose, you can expect to: Learn about campus resources and amenities Discover tools to enable your academic success at UAH Learn about campus, student involvement opportunities, and traditions Receive information about what you need to do before joining us on campus, such as registering for classes, choosing a meal plan, registering for your Charger ID, submitting your immunization form, purchasing a parking decal, and more.
