Flex Account

Students, faculty and staff may deposit money to their Charger Card's Flex account, a declining balance account holding voluntary funds. This convenient account may be used at any of our on-campus dining venues, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, copy machines and computer lab printers. If you live in campus housing, you will want to adde money to your Flex account for all the use you will apply to the vending and laundry machines.

Any money left on your Flex account will roll over to the next semester, as long as you remain an active cardholder. Refunds will be processed upon request only by students graduating or withdrawing from the University and staff or faculty ending employment with the University.

Inactive Flex Accounts

Cardholder flex accounts, for which no written request for eligible refund has been received by the Charger Card Office, and which remain inactive for one year will be charged an annual fee of $25.00.  Debit account activity will be reviewed annually every June and the annual fee will be assessed, where appropriate, to the cardholder's flex account in June of each year.  The assessment of the annual fee will not result in a negative balance.  When the inactive debit account balance reaches zero, the account will be closed.
