Curriculum Advising and Program Planning
CAPP is the acronym for Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning, which is an electronic degree audit used to track a student's progress toward their degree completion. CAPP searches through in-progress courses, transfer credit, and courses taken at UAHuntsville to find courses that match a student's degree requirements.
Students, Faculty and Staff advisors can:
- Access CAPP through Banner Self-Service
- View the same information
CAPP is not the official degree audit. Student's are still required to submit a degree application to initiate the official degree audit, which will be certified by Academic Departments and finally by the Office of the Registrar. Ultimately, CAPP is a tool for student's, with the guidance of an advisor, to evaluate the completion of degree requirements.
