  • The UAH Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) provides research administration at UAH, managing projects and contracts and ensuring research compliance. OTC works closely with OSP regarding grant and contract funding and sponsored research.
  • UAH Small Business Development Center
  • The UAH Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a member of the Alabama SBDC Network and funded partially through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBDC provides professional support at all stages of business development.
  • UAH Invention to Innovation Center
  • The UAH Invention to Innovation Center (I2C) is an on-campus entrepreneurial center that hosts incubation and co-working space and community events space.

  • Alabama Launchpad
  • Alabama Launchpad, a program of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA), is an early-stage seed fund investor that supports entrepreneurship in Alabama. Alabama Launchpad hosts a competition that awards funding on the basis of potential to create social and economic impact in Alabama. Applications are open periodically throughout the year.
  • Alabama Small Business Development Center Network
  • There are 10 Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) across Alabama that provide entrepreneurs with business training and resources to start and grow their businesses. The Alabama SBDC Network is an accredited member of America’s Small Business Development Centers.
  • BIO Alabama
  • BIO Alabama promotes biotechnology innovation in Alabama by supporting biotech companies and professionals and by collaborating with public and private industry partners.
  • The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship
  • The Catalyst Center provides entrepreneurs and small businesses with mentoring and networking opportunities in Alabama. Projects of The Catalyst include the Women’s Business Center serving North Alabama, the REACH Women’s Business Center serving Central and South Alabama, and the TechRich Center which focuses on Government Contracting serving the defense and space technology industries in North Alabama.

  • The Huntsville/Madison County Alabama Chamber of Commerce overlooks the economic growth and development of the area. The Chamber furthers the economic interests of the community through coordination with prospective and existing businesses.
  • North Alabama International Trade Association
  • The North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA) is a non-profit membership organization that was established in 1983 to promote international business in the North Alabama region. NAITA offers networking, education, and training opportunities related to international trade.
