UAH celebrates annual Honors Day activities

convocation lecturn

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) will recognize outstanding undergraduate students for their distinguished academic achievements during Honors Convocation on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

Honors Convocation is an important tradition, allowing the university to honor undergraduate students and to recognize their successes. This year, UAH will not hold a campus-wide convocation ceremony. Instead, each college within the university will host separate Undergraduate Academic Honors Day activities. During the ceremony, students who have been inducted into honor societies, named to the dean's list in each college, and who have attained excellence in academic programs will be recognized.

In addition to Honors Day activities the university will observe the third annual Research Horizons Day and Research Week April 11-14. For more information please visit: (uah.edu/undergraduate-research) under the “Research Horizons Day” tab.
