Welcome to the Political Science Department!  We have created a number of new courses and programs to stimulate critical and creative thinking, promote thorough analysis, and increase proficiency in writing about the nature of governance, policy-making, and world events.  These skills will enhance the ability of students to move into exciting careers, whether in the legal profession, government or private-sector, non-profit organizations, the defense community, or graduate school.  According to the Princeton Review, the diverse skills that a political science major develops make it one of the ten most popular majors in the country.
