Welcome to UAH’s Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA)! We honor the individual. We celebrate differences and use them to create unity. The concept of diversity goes far beyond the definition of diversity. It’s the act of recognizing and appreciating the value of our inherent differences in order to increase access and inclusion and to combat discrimination and prejudice. To strengthen diversity at UAH, the ODMA is committed to improving social and cultural awareness and encouraging self-understanding through education, training, and engagement with others. By offering enriching programs that that promote cross-cultural perspectives and create mutual opportunities for exchange, we hope to foster an inclusive environment for people of all races, ethnicities, cultures, ages, religions, languages, abilities, genders, and sexual orientations.
