In business, government, and not-for-profit organizations, marketing professionals work to align the organization with the needs and preferences of customers. Marketing graduates find careers as advertising and promotion managers, product line managers, marketing research directors, logistics managers, international sales managers, and as leaders of sales and merchandising teams. They may conduct focus groups to determine the feasibility of new products, define target market demographics to introduce a brand in a new international market, develop a distribution strategy for better delivery of an existing product, select the site for a new retail store, and manage branding and promotional campaigns.
