Research Description
1) Ecology of freshwater fishes of North America, especially of Campostoma species stoneroller minnows and killifishes of the genus Fundulus and their close relatives.
2) Effects of acidic precipitation on freshwater fishes in New England ponds, especially Lepomis -gibbosus, the pumpkinseed sunfish, and L. macrochirus, the bluegill sunfish. This includes assessments of the trophic relationships in ponds with different sensitivities to acidic processes.
