Dual Enrollment/Early Start Students

Academically talented students may elect to concurrently enroll at UAH after their sophomore year of high school, enabling them to receive both high school and college credit (Dual Enrollment) or college credit (Early Start) upon successful completion of courses.

Dual Enrollment students may take two classes and receive half off tuition for one class per semester.

Dual Enrollment/Early Start Students

Applying as a Dual Enrollment/Early Start Student:

Step 1: Apply for admission.

Step 2: Pay the $30 application fee.

Step 3: Have your official high school transcript sent to the Office of Admissions (2.9 GPA minimum).

Step 4: Have your official ACT or SAT test results sent to the Office of Admissions (20 ACT/970 SAT minimum).

*Note: we accept ACT or SAT scores listed on your official high school transcript.

Step 5: Have UAH's Dual Enrollment/Early Start Approval Form signed by parents/guardians, school counselor, and principal and return to the Office of Admissions.

Step 6: If applicable: have any official AP credit sent directly from the testing agency to the Office of Admissions to have your scores evaluated for credit. UAH AP Code: 1854
*Note: this is required for placement in an upper level class.
