HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (April 1, 2013) - A paper co-authored by Dr. Junpeng Guo, professor of electrical engineering and optics at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, received the 2012 Alan Berman Research Publication Award at the Naval Research Laboratory.

The title of the paper is "Pitch Dependent Resonances and Near-Field Coupling in Infrared Nanoantenna Arrays," published in the journal Optics Express in 2012.

Dr. Guo co-authored the paper with his collaborators at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. He was informed of the award recently by Dr. John A. Montgomery, the Director of Research at the Naval Research Laboratory.
