Kenneth Sullivan elected NDIA vice chair

Ken SullivanHUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Kenneth W. Sullivan, associate director of the Office for Enterprise Innovation and Sustainability at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, has been elected as a vice chair of the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) Manufacturing Division.

Dr. Sullivan most recently served as the chairman of Manufacturing Division’s Supply Chain Network Committee. He oversaw a survey of small- to mid-sized businesses regarding their participation in the aerospace and defense industrial base conducted by the committee. He also was a co-author of the white paper published by NDIA based on the findings of the survey. The white paper was also instrumental in defining the Connecting American Manufacturing (CAM) project sponsored by Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) ManTech program.

Prior to joining UAHuntsville, Dr. Sullivan worked for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, Micro Craft, Inc. and United Technologies Carrier Corp. While at UAHuntsville, Dr. Sullivan has primarily worked with Army and NASA customers to address their supply chain issues.
