HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Oct. 4, 2013) - The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is joining forces with MadCap Software to ensure that students pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication have a competitive advantage when entering the workforce.

Through the MadCap Scholar licensing program, students will learn how to use MadCap Flare to create technical documentation for online help, software documentation, policy & procedure manuals, knowledge bases, and user guides.

"I really appreciate MadCap helping us to become a great resource for students to prepare themselves for a career in technical communications," says Dr. Ryan Weber, UAH's Director of Business and Technical Writing. "It's exciting to get this recognition from a company that is so integral to the technical communications market."

Anthony Olivier, MadCap founder and CEO, says he is equally happy with the partnership. "We are thrilled to work with UAH in helping students reach new levels in developing their technical communication skills, and we are looking forward to having these students successfully generate dynamic online help."
