Six area high school scholars bowl teams recently qualified for the Alabama Scholastic Competition Association (ASCA) regional tournament next month.
The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAHuntsville) Honors Program hosted the 2013 Alabama Scholastic Competition Association (ASCA) District High School Scholars Bowl on February 8. The teams advancing to the regional contest are Brindlee Mountain High School, Grissom High School, Huntsville High School, Randolph School, Sparkman High School and Covenant Christian School.
ASCA high school regional tournaments will be held on Saturday, March 2 at area middle schools; and the state tournament will be held on Friday, April 12 at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham.
