UAHuntsville receives 2012 Hermes Creative Award

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 10, 2012) — The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAHuntsville) 2011Research Review recently received a platinum award in the Hermes Creative Awards 2012 competition. The international honor recognizes the magazine as one of the most outstanding entries in the publications/annual report category.

A platinum award will be awarded to Chrystal Morgan, director of research communications on behalf of the UAHuntsville Office of Research. There were more than 4,700 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2012 competition.

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition honoring creative professionals who concept, write and design traditional and emerging media. The competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), which oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence. The UAHuntsville Office of Research is under the direction of Dr. John Horack, vice president for research.
