This competition will provide graduate students with three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis/dissertation and its significance. The competition is not an exercise in trivializing or dumbing-down research, but challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-specialist audience. Why you should participate At UAH, 3MT is part of an effort to provide students with an opportunity to develop their oral communication and presentation skills. It also provides a valuable opportunity for research students to come together, get to know one another and talk about their research in a supportive environment. Prizes For each category (Masters and PhD/DNP) First Place $250.00, Runner Up $100.00 People's Choice $50.00. The overall winner will also receive an all-expenses paid trip to represent UAH at the regional competition held by the Council of Graduate Schools Deans at their annual spring meeting (date and time will be announced). This provides an excellent networking and professional development opportunity. Sign up today Spots are limited.
