selected for the Prestigious Yale-Norfolk summer program, and actively exhibit throughout the region. After graduation, students pursue graduate studies at top programs such as the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, California College of the Arts, Columbia College, University of South Florida to name a few. They become working artists, exhibiting locally and throughout the country, doing arts intervention for homeless youth, teaching learning disabled children, working as technical illustrators, opening their own gallery spaces and more.
Our students understand the cross-disciplinary nature of the contemporary art world, and see themselves as artists rather than simply painters or draughtsman. The support and encouragement they get in developing their individual artistic voice coupled with professional practice skills helps them to succeed.
