The UAH Student Art Organization...
under "The Bean" in Millennium Park Chicago
is one of the most dynamic clubs on campus. Open to all students interested in the arts, the club sponsors a variety of activities including figure drawing nights, professional practice workshops, exhibiting student work at local art festivals, peer critiques and more. The students also fund two prizes for the juried student show. Each year they put on the annual Holiday Art Show and Sale, host the "Halloween in Spring" costume dance party and are active volunteers for the Emerging Artist Tent at the Panoply Festival of the Arts.
Travel to visit museums and galleries is one of the of the club’s most important endeavors. They have visited nearby cities such as Nashville, Memphis and Birmingham as well as major art centers such as Chicago and New York.

HASA is UAH's on campus advertising club. We are members of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and the American Advertising Federation of North Alabama (AAFNA). HASA is a creative resource for students who want to explore advertising, work with community projects, and learn leadership by becoming involved in advertising activities. The purpose of the club is to enhance the student graphic designers' portfolios, build experience, and to help them make conections in the professional design community. Outstanding students may be invited to join the Kappa Pi Honorary Art Fraternity. The organization was established in 1911 at the University of Kentucky and has dedicated itself to promoting artistic excellence at the college level and beyond by maintaining high academic achievement. Members are eligible for scholarships through the national organization, receive certificates, cards, jewelry, and honor cords along with two publications The Sketch Book and The Sketch Pad. The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) is North America's oldest and largest organization devoted to the world of archaeology. The AIA is a nonprofit group with some 200,000 Members belonging to 107 Local Societies. The UAH Department of Art & Art History sponsers events for the North AL Society.
