This is my UAH story…

I started UAH in 1995 as a young man who was nowhere near ready for college.  The UAH that many of you know today was not necessarily the same institution it has grown to be today.  After enjoying fraternity life (I became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. in the Spring of 99), I decided to take a break to figure out what I wanted to do and ultimately returned in 2007 to finish my degree which I obtained in 2010.  I had many influences during this time period from such professors such as Dr. Rountree, Dr. Sonja Brown-Givens, and the late Dr. Johnson to name a few.  I was also lucky to meet the person who is now my wife!  I am certain that there are many students who attend the University who are just like me and I would say to them to never give up and always shoot or the stars…. I would stack my education up against any of the graduates here that attend USC, UCLA, etc.
