8:00PM Step Afrika! Performance presented by the Office of Student Activities
Step Afrika! was founded in 1994 as the first professional company dedicated to the tradition of stepping. It now ranks as one of the top ten African American dance companies in the United States. The Company blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities, African traditional dance and influences from a variety of other dance and art forms. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding.Learn more by watching them on Youtube. Step Afrika! Performance will be in the University Center Exhibit Hall.

A Friday night tradition here at UAH! We encourage you to join us for a Family Edition of Sandella’s Sounds. Listen to our wonderful Student Performers for the evening and then enjoy dessert and Karaoke! Best family performance wins a prize!

UAH’s Spragins Hall will be transformed for this event! A ONE-day International Festival featuring a wealth of global performances and music, international comfort foods, over 30 country cultural displays, FREE children's activities, and more! Even sample some of the homemade international comfort foods.

Come out to the Greek Row Lawn for music, games & fun. There will be a picnic basket auction and a tug of war tournament over green jello! All proceeds collected during the event will benefit the speech and hearing impaired classes of Chaffee Elementary & Mt. Carmel Elementary Schools.

Before you say farewell again – join Student Affairs & Charger Blue for brunch. Takeaway pictures of your family with Charger Blue will be provided. We will also be raffling off some great UAH & Huntsville city gifts.
