A management degree prepares graduates for careers managing people and processes. Some management majors focus on human resource management so they can guide an organization in building a capable workforce and maintaining a high performance culture. Other management majors choose to focus on supply chain management in order to help organizations design and manage the flow of goods and services through large networks of suppliers and customers. And, others specialize in contracts and acquisition management so they can negotiate purchases and contracts for large government agencies or government contractors. Whether you are interested in managing people, processes, or both - a management degree can be a first step toward a rewarding career in business or government.
