When you were a student, what were some of your favorite things about UAH?
I loved being active on campus with Greek life, participating in music ensembles, as well as being a founding member of a few organizations. Being involved helped me to meet new people and grow as a leader. I also enjoyed attending the Hockey Games and the Basketball games. Academically, I truly enjoyed the small class sizes. Being able to really get to know my professors helped me to get an amazing internship opportunity as well as future references.
What made you want to be an Admissions Counselor?
I love being around students and being a resource. I love helping others and helping high school students determine their college decision seems to be a pretty fascinating job! It is such an exciting time and as an Admissions Counselor, I can be a part of that journey.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy walking my dogs, Jude and Lucy, spending time with my adoring husband, playing saxophone, and making gifts for friends and family by crafting.
Why should students from your territory choose UAH?
Students should choose UAH because of the great opportunities we have for students of all disciplines and majors. From co-ops with NASA to internships in local government, we have something for all of our students to ensure they have the experiences they need upon graduation. We are located in a thriving community that offers a small town vibe with big city opportunities.
