UAH's brand new logo was unveiled at the Board of Trustees meeting convened April 12. The forward-looking logo represents an identity signature that will carry UAH into the coming years.

UAH’s Wind Ensemble and Choir join forces to showcase works of contemporary composers

UAH Department of Music will present a joint performance of the UAHuntsville Wind Ensemble and Choirs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at First Baptist Church of Huntsville and Saturday, April 13, at Asbury United Methodist Church of Madison. The program, entitled Living Music, will exclusively showcase the works of some of the most important composers of contemporary music living today.


UAH ChemCar places 7th at AIChE Regional Conference

The UAH Chempacitor car, which gets its energy from a proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell.

A chemical reaction-powered car (ChemCar) developed and produced by students at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) placed seventh overall among 15 universities present at the Southern AIChE Regional Conference hosted by the University of Kentucky on April 6 in Lexington, Ky. The car won second place in the ChemCar poster competition.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville Earns National Recognition for Its Evening MBA Program

UAHuntsville's evening professional (part-time) MBA program, offered by the College of Business Administration, was named to U.S. News & World Report's recently released 2014 ranking of Best Business Schools - Part-Time MBA. The program placed 60th among public universities nationwide and was tied for 15th in the Southeastern region.

Upper winds Saturday, March 30, carried the payloads from BalloonSats launched from 10-11 a.m. by The University of Alabama in Huntsville's EE494 Senior Projects Class 122 miles away into Georgia near the town of Calhoun.
