Information contributed in 1997 by Elizabeth Abrams, Tanica Campbell, and Jackie Shivers, and in 2000 by Rae Bernhardt, Reem Hafez, and Nancy Taylor.

Woolf's working title for Mrs. Dalloway was The Hours.  Michael Cunningham's novel of that title is a modern adaptation of Mrs. Dalloway, a fascinating read especially for those who know the Woolf novel.  It's now a movie with Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, and (gasp) Nicole Kidman as Virginia Woolf.  The soundtrack is great.  Check out The Hours website.
