University of Wisconsin - Madison

The University of Wisconsin - Madison is located in Madison, Wisconsin.  They have proudly represented the Great Lakes Region twenty one times at the national level (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017).

The Badgers hosted the National Concrete Canoe Competition in 1996 and and 2002.  The team is the only one to have won five consecutive nationals championships (2003-2007).  The University of Wisconsin - Madison, Clemson, and Fairmont State University hold the record for the most consecutive national appearances (14 years). The University of Wisconsin - Madison is also one of five schools (the University of California - Berkeley, Cal Poly - SLO, Clemson, and UAH are the other four) that have won back-to-back national titles. The Badgers finished ten times in the top five and sixteen times in the top ten.

The team's National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) performance record stands as follows:
